Rolleiflex 2.8C - the first serial 2.8 Rolleiflex model from 1954 with great early classical 5-elements Carl Zeiss Planar 80/2.8 lens, this classical lens with !!10 aperture blades!! belongs to the 50s lens generation with amazing 3D pop and tending to more soft rendering wide open, great for vintage colours and bw portraits.

For collectors: this camera is a true treasure to find in that condition nowadays.
Most of those cameras suffer from broken sync locks, strong lens coating problems, paint lose etc. This particular 2.8C still looking extremely clean and unused, also the original leather bag and original strap still looking really amazing.

Shutter: Compur, B - 1/500 sec., please notice that if the shutter is activated you can only change the times between B to 1/250! Release the shutter first and you will be able go up to 1/500!
Always remember the rule for the old Compur shutters:
first set the speed to 1/500, then cock the shutter!
Once the shutter is cocked at 1/500 it´s not possible to set any other time, you need to fire the shutter first, then you can change the time setting!
Also if the shutter was already cocked at any shutter time between 1/100 and B you can´t move it to 1/500 setting!

Camera has been serviced and re-adjusted, all functions work accurately, the focus is adjusted to the film plane and also film tested on the special stand for excellent focus accuracy.

The original dim focusing glass screen was updated with the new PRO ultra bright screen with the same brightness and quality as the "acute matte d" on the Hassy or "High-D screen" on hy6.

Both lenses were cleaned internal: no visible scratches, no haze, no fungus, for its age, generation and camera type still great coating condition (and I saw MANY of them to make this conclusion), no separation (also very common problem for this lens generation), the only thing I have notices is yellowish color change along the edge of the optic (no influence on anything), may have some minimal residue and residual traces, also nothing what will affect taking pictures, tested with the lens tester as well.
