This special upgrade service is available for owners of the Rolleicord Vb (Type I or Type II) who would like to transform their existing camera into something truly exceptional.
Instead of purchasing another camera, you can send me your own Rolleicord Vb for a complete mechanical rebuild and installation of my newly developed
MAGICFLEX PL 75/3.5 lens.
Your camera will be completely disassembled, cleaned, lubricated, precisely adjusted and fitted with the new optical system.
The original Schneider-Kreuznach Xenar taking lens will be replaced with my new multicoated, 5-element Double Gauss Planar-type MAGICFLEX PL 75/3.5 lens
The result is a lightweight, beautifully engineered medium format camera with outstanding optical performance, comparable to the finest classic Rolleiflex models.

PAYMENT AND COMPLETION
Total price: EUR 1,400
The payment is divided into two parts:
First payment: EUR 700 (50% deposit)
Second payment: EUR 700 upon completion
The estimated completion time is approximately 6 weeks from the date your camera arrives at my workshop.
Shipping your camera to my workshop in Germany is the customer's responsibility. Return shipping will be arranged after completion.

This service is intended for complete, mechanically intact Rolleicord Vb
cameras (Type I or II).
Cameras with significant damage, missing parts, previous improper repairs or serious mechanical problems may require additional work or may not be suitable for this upgrade.

MY REBUILD WORKFLOW AND PHILOSOPHY
Every camera rebuild is its own project.
I completely rebuild and re-adjust
the camera from the ground up.
My work goes far beyond a usual CLA.
Having full control over the process
takes more time and attention to detail.
I fully strip the camera, inspect every part, and bring all internal components and adjustments back to factory specification or even better.
I clean, renew, re-lubricate, and re-adjust the entire camera, then test every function.
As a result, everything works with high precision and often feels even smoother than it did when new. Focus is calibrated exactly to the film plane, and the camera is film-tested on a dedicated stand to guarantee excellent focus accuracy.
